Parkson’s New Moon Oracle

We have just seen the new moon in libra.  It started 2 days ago so visually we are starting to see some moon shine, just a glimpse, but it will be getting brighter.  Each new moon brings its own energy.  Libra calls for balance and harmony, justice and fairness.  This is excellent time to clarify our intentions which begins in the new moon cycle.  Each month we have another opportunity for a new start with a new focus!

What card will you pick today?

Take a deep breath.  Centre yourself and pick the card that you feel the most drawn to.

Okay now you have picked.

Take it easy.  Hope you didn’t stress yourself out.

Now you are ready.

Remember which card you picked?

The left, the middle, or the right.

Now scroll down for the instant reveal.

Here you go…your libra new moon oracle.

The Left – Ace of Earth

With the arrival of Autumn Equinox not long ago, the Earth is in the balance of equal day and night.  You have arrived a new cycle marked by pragmaticism; probably with solid, tangible projects to begin.  Something is manifesting in the physical world for you – perhaps good fortune or renewed health is coming your way.

The Middle – Ten of Water
You are ready to move on in your relationship.  What has been troubling you emotionally has come to an end. The struggle that you experienced in the past has become valuable experience for you to improve the future of your family and community. Your heart is now open to receive new friendships and move on.  You have given your best and can rest assured that love will continue to flow.

The Right – Lovers

Your beloved ones have come to the limelight in this cycle.  If you are single, or not, good chance is you will find joy and luck in relationship. Time to live a life full of passion and love.  Often this card appears when there is a choice to be made.  The Lovers call upon you to always follow your heart’s desire.

Manifesting my Dreams with the Tarot

The poll result of Brexit has given me very deep thoughts. Everything is so unpredictable, stability and prosperity are not givens.  We are living in a world full of surprise, the minute I think life is secure; the next minute shocks will follow.  Like thunders and storms, earthquake and tsunami.  What I see as my permanent possessions, what I feel as comforting and predictable, all can be changed without any warning signals.  This is perhaps the new reality.  Is my future insecure?  With all the magical tools in my bag I cannot control the tides of the sea.  So what can I do about my future.  I use the Tarot to give me insights. For my friends in the UK who mostly prefer the country to remain in EU, please feel upset for a while but not too long. My angel blessings that you will find courage soon to make plans that will help the country become even stronger and better.  Walk with pride, you always do and you always overcome.

Last night I attended an online summer school class organised by the Tarot Readers Academy.  The class was delivered by Brigit Esselmont who is one of my favourite Tarot reader and teacher.  She is the founder of Biddy Tarot and has inspired many people to live more mindful and enlightened lives, using Tarot as a guide.  In her class she talked about how to map our path to manifestation, which was fun and easy to follow. I decided to have a go.

I spent time to meditate on the dream I want to manifest. At this moment in life my biggest want is to have inner peace in an unstable and changing environment. I want to feel positive and confident in the universe that only better things will come if I lose or change my job.  Once I have decided this is the goal that aligns with my higher self and it is the one that I wish to manifest, I pulled out my tarot cards and used this manifestation spread to guide my path:

Card 1: where am I now in relation to my goal?  Card drawn – The Chariot

Card 2: how am I in relationship with my goal?  Card drawn – Ace of Pentacles

Card 3: what do I need to release?  Card drawn – Knight of Pentacles

Card 4: what do I need to grow?  Card drawn –  7 of Swords

Card 5: what steps can I take?  Card drawn – The Hermit

Card 6: what lesson will I need to master?  Card drawn – 2 of Pentacles

Card 7: what might I experience over the next 6-12 months?  Card drawn – King of Swords

The Chariot assured me that my goal is in alignment with my higher self, I just need to stay focused on this course.  Ace of Pentacles advised me that the dream is a practical one as it will settle my worries.  I must let go of the idea of stability and comfort!  Only when I release them can I adapt to new circumstances, and find ways to break through the situation quickly in clever ways.  The Hermit reminded me to think and plan in details and step-by-step, something that I need to learn as I am never good at thoroughness.  However the answers and the light are from within.  The 2 of Pentacles gave me lots of thoughts.  One of my dreams is to use my divinatory crafts and turn them into a business, like retailing and consulting.  Perhaps it is time to develop a side business along with the day job, again in a well-planned manner.  In the next 6-12 months my thoughts and plans will become more mature, clarity of the mind that I can stay positive and confident in the providence of the universe will become a part of self.  Overall, I need to open to alternatives in my day job and take risks, make plans to develop 2 careers at the same time.

Now I have committed to my goal and mapped my path to manifestation.  It’s time to connect even more deeply through tarot and optmise my chances of success.  So I pulled a single card for meditation:

The Tower card resonated with my reading.  Where I am now, is shaky and may not last long.  The way forward is to move on.  Losing a job or changing a new one looks very risky, but trust the universe the crown jewel is there – only I cannot see it from the top of the tower.  Falling is thrilling in a good way.  There is nothing to fear to move to some place else.  For now, start developing 2 careers – become even better with my day job and start exploring opportunities to make divinatory consultation a meaningful business.  Life is so interesting!  I show my gratitude to all my blessings.

Time to celebrate: Ostara!

Spring has just arrived, hurray!  Goodbye to my cold, and goodbye to the long dark hours at night.  She is my officially most favourite season of the year.  Everything is fresh, everything is lively.  Even my favourite cologne has her name on it:

Ostara (around 21st March every year), is the Spring Equinox.  It is the time when the Sun enters the zodiacal sign Aries.  On Ostara the hours of day and night are equal.  Light is overtaking darkness, our Mother Earth impels the live creatures to reproduce.  It is time to rejoice as it marks the first day of true Spring!  The energies of nature subtly shift from the sluggishness of winter to the beautiful expansion of spring.

It is time to delight ourselves in the abundance of nature.  Walk the green fields.  Buy some flowers.  Touch some plants.  Connect with their energy and through it, all nature.  Visualise yourself travel inside its leaves and stems – from your crown through your arms and fingers into the plant itself.  Sense the miraculous processes of life at work within it. Feel the emergence of energies around you and show your gratitude to the wonders of nature.

This is a time of beginnings, of actions, of planting spells for future gains, and of tending your garden.

Time to celebrate: Imbolc!

This is the time of purification after the hermit-like of winter, through the renewing power of the Sun.  It is also a festival of light and of fertility, for the Mother Earth is warmed by God, with His power felt in the longer days.  The warmth fertilises the earth, causing seeds to germinate and sprout.  And so, the earliest beginnings of Spring commence.  Imbolc is the mid way between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox (the Sun is at 15 Aquarius).  Since the Winter Solstice the days are becoming lighter as the Sun moves higher in the sky.

As one of the traditional times for initiations into the covens, I treat this as a new January and will do a simple ritual in the evening to renew my resolutions made at the beginning of the year.  Nothing formal, just something simple and from the heart to tell my deity of my intentions.  This is perhaps the best kind of self-dedication ritual.

On this day what I usually do is: in the evening after the sunset, light all my candles at home, visualise my life blossoming with creativity, with renewed energy and strength.  Then I will say the following prayer:f

Oh Father God,

Answers to all mysteries and yet mysteries unanswered;

In this time of power I open myself to your essence.

In this place and in this time I am changed;

From hence forth I walk following your guidance.

I breathe your energies into my body,

That I may see the divine in nature, nature in the divine,

And divinity within myself and all else.

Oh great God, make me one with your essence.

After that I will have curry!  Curries and all dishes made with peppers, onions, leeks, garlic or chives are appropriate because they are spicy and full-bodied food that attune with the rebirth of the Sun.  Our body is getting warmer and becoming more ready to welcome Spring.

Time to celebrate: Yule!

This is the day of winter solstice (22nd December, 2015), the time when we have the longest night and the shortest day in the Northern Hemisphere.  Good news is from now on the day is getting longer and longer.  Welcome, ever-returning God of the Sun!  May you shine brightly upon the earth, and bless this fertile land once again.

The winter solstice has long been viewed as a time of divine birth.  In a time of greatest darkness people prayed to the forces of nature to lengthen the days and shorten the nights.  Wiccans sometimes celebrate Yule just before dawn, then watch the sunrise as a fitting finale to their efforts.  Since the God is also the Sun, this marks the point of the year when the Sun God is reborn again.  On this night I light a candle to celerate the Sun’s returning light.

In this special moment of time, I suggest to say a prayer to your deity with the 5 principles of Reiki:

Just for today, I will

Let go of anger

Let go of worry

Show gratitude & give thanks for my blessings

Work conscientiously

Be compassionate & honour all living things

So mote it be.

I believe in reincarnation, and many other things. Just in case there isn’t, that’s why I have been living to the edge in this life, making the most of it. I hope you do. Have a very blessed Yule.
